Markie Tuckett is the proud owner of Timber + Plumb Kitchens and Cabinetry in Windsor, ON. A creative and optimistic Metis-Canadian, who strives to make impactful connections with her clients and community.
Markie has always had a love for anything design related. From a young age, her passion for design developed into more than just a hobby, and later recognized her true career passion was working with interiors. This drove her to focusing on a post-secondary education in Interior Design.
Following her post-secondary education, Markie successfully opened her own business, Timber + Plumb. Among her career achievements, Markie was recently nominated for Entrepreneur of the Year at the 2022 Windsor Business Excellence Awards, named one of the KBB’s Magazine “Praise-worthy Picks” for Person of the Year, National Kitchen and Bath Association’s (NKBA) Top Thirty Under 30 as well as the DesignHounds Kitchen Design Influencer of the Year.
Now, as the owner, operator & head designer at Timber + Plumb, Markie recognizes that there is more to running a business than just the books. It means supporting your community. It means being a cheerleader for other women-owned businesses, and supporting girls and young women to follow their career goals. Everyone is deserving of a seat at the table, and Markie will continue to use her platform to be a voice for change!
